Keyboard Shortcuts
A complete reference for keyboard shortcuts in the ARCCC Net Console. Shortcuts are grouped by page or feature. Alt-combos fire even when typing inside an input — bare-letter shortcuts only fire when no field is focused.
Conventions
- Alt on Windows/Linux is the ⌥ Option key on macOS — both work the same way.
- Mod means Ctrl on Windows/Linux and ⌘ Cmd on macOS.
- Shortcuts using a single character (?, arrow keys) only fire when you're not typing in an input.
Anywhere in the app

Net Runner (guided mode)
Active while running a net. The Shortcuts · ? link between the Back and Next buttons opens the same reference inline.

| Alt + A | Focus the Call Sign field (jump to Add check-in) from anywhere on the page. |
| Alt + N | Next step / Done with Group · Next. |
| Alt + B | Back to the previous step. |
| Alt + K | Acknowledge all unacknowledged check-ins in the current step's group. |
| ? | Open / close the keyboard shortcuts dialog. |
Check-in entry form
Active in any check-in panel (guided runner, classic mode, or backfill).
| Shortcut | What it does |
|---|---|
| Enter | From the Call Sign field, submit the check-in. If the call sign exactly matches a roster entry, blank Name/Location fields are auto-filled before logging. |
| ↑ / ↓ | Move through the call-sign or location autocomplete suggestions. |
| Enter | With a suggestion highlighted, pick it and auto-fill name + location. |
| Esc | Close the suggestion dropdown. |
| Tab | Move forward through fields. Tab order: Call → Name → Location → Station → Time → Notes → Add Check-in. |
Ack-all in any check-in table
When a group has unacknowledged check-ins, an Ack all (N) button appears above the table — handy for small groups where you want to bulk-mark everyone at once.Alt + K does the same thing inside the guided runner.
Chat (N/C Chat & Floating Net Chat)

| Mod + Enter | Send the message you're composing. |
| Esc | Cancel a reply (when replying to another message) or close the @mention picker. |
| ↑ / ↓ | Move through the @mention suggestion list while typing a callsign after @. |
| Enter / Tab | Insert the highlighted @mention. |
Tips
- The Command Palette (Mod + K) is the fastest way to get anywhere — try it first before reaching for the mouse.
- During a busy net, keep your hand on the keyboard: Alt + A to jump to Call, type the callsign, Enter to log, repeat. When the group is done, Alt + K to ack everyone, then Alt + N to advance.
- Press ? in the Net Runner any time to pop up the shortcuts panel without leaving the page.
